Of course I could start my Biography with writing that I started drawing and painting as soon as I could hold a pencil in my hands, but this would neither be true or believable.
In fact art has always been a hobby pushed to one side I studied to become an Engineer and received a Merit in my GNVQ courses, I then became a Retail supervisor and received a Merit in Retail operations, and eventually became a Blue belt in Kickboxing and Instructor of Martial arts.
But I was never more happy than when I had a paintbrush or pencil in my hand (Or indeed behind my ear), it was my daily breath of fresh air, a place to escape, a place to really be me, I love art (and hate writing biographies).
Since deciding that art was my chosen career and my true calling, I have realised that I am very creative person (with a very very active imagination), I enjoy producing hand made cards, key rings, Magnets, and all manner of items, using prints from my Original art work.
I have lived in Buxton Derbyshire for 8 years now it is a Beautiful and tranquil place, and I love the old buildings and the wildlife within the area.
I live in this wonderful town with 3 Cats, 3 Dogs, 1 Rabbit, 1 Gerbil, oh and my Husband and Son
Due to my love of animals in particular cats I have started a Pet Portrait Diploma with the London art college and I am very excited about obtaining a qualification for my artwork.
I have already sold my artwork worldwide and feel that nothing is more rewarding than the way your artwork makes somebody else feel.
